This is crazy!

Some loony woman attacked Simon Cowell‘s ex-girlfriend, Terri Seymour, outside the Nokia Theater last night, after the American Idol finale.

According to TMZ.com, Teri was approached by a woman who asked her if she was Simon’s girlfriend — then proceeded to try and choke her!

Terri is ok — she refused medical treatment and was escorted out of the entertainment complex by police.

The crazy woman, Janice Thibodeaux, was booked on felony battery and is being held $52,700 bail.

Oh, and when TMZ spoke to Janice’s brother and sister, they said she’s ”not crazy” and this is “way out of character” for her.

Uh-huh. She sounds real sane to me.
