Such unfortunate news for a 5-month old baby girl. But apparently, Mel and Oksana are okay with raising their child as friends.
As a biography, Lucia Gibson was born in Los Angeles, California on October 30, 2009 so her age is 5 months. Her mother is Oksana Grigorieva, a musician who is signed to Mel Gibson’s record label, Icon Records. She is Oscar-winning actor, Mel Gibson’s daughter. The couple went public with their relationship is May of 2009. Later, they announced they were pregnant in May of 2009.
According to TMZ, a source has said that Gibson and Grigorieva “just drifted apart”. They do, however, plan to remain friends and raise Lucia together.
After nearly 30 years of marriage to his wife Robyn, Oksana and Mel made their relationship known briefly after the actor filed for divorce in April of 2009. Together, Robyn and Mel have seven children, one daughter, six sons, and two grandbabies: Hannah (b. 1980), twins Edward and Christian (b. 1982), William (b. 1985), Louis (b. 1988), Milo (b. 1990), and Thomas (b. 1999). Oksana is a model and classical pianist. She recently had her first pop record released in August of 2009. She has another child, a son with actor Timothy Dalton.
