Kim Kardashian Headed To Haiti For Charity

Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian seems to be keeping herself busy these days in the wake of her very public separation from professional basketball player Kris Humphries.

After being seen during the Thanksgiving holiday feeding the homeless, Kardashian is now off to Haiti to help the female population of troubled country, aiding in their safety and health issues. The reality star will be making the trip with a charity group by the name of We Advance.

People Magazine has revealed details surrounding her work for the charity.

“She connected with Mario Bello and is there with Maria’s foundation and also with her mom [Kris Jenner],” an insider told the mag. “Her intention was always to take the end of the year to focus on some of the other things that are important to her and this trip was one.”

“[Kim's] father instilled in her and her siblings that every little bit counts and she always tries to do as much as she can – whether it’s privately or whether it’s something that she can use her platform for – to help.”

Meanwhile, Kardashian’s soon-to-be ex-husband is making his own news with a recent interview on Good Morning America. Humphries’ mom accompanied him, most likely for moral support, during a Q&A session that focused on his marriage with Kim. The NBA player did answered a few, keeping most of the details of their private life to himself.

“It’s just…certain things happen in life, and you’ve gotta move on. I’m excited to be where I’m at with the NBA season coming up.”

The host also asked Humphries if he was still in love with his ex. “I’m focused on what I can control, which is being ready to play ball and supporting my mom and her cookie bake today.”
