Khloe Kardashian Is Movin’ To Dallas Y’all! Sports WAG of the Week
Los Angeles native Khloe Kardashian will soon be donning a cowboy hat and moving to Dallas. Why? Because her hubby, Lamar Odom, now formerly of the Lakers, has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks. It’s been a whirlwind four days for the two, as Lamar was originally part of a trade that would have sent him and Pau Gasol to New Orleans for guard Chris Paul. The NBA rejected the trade, which left Lamar feeling hurt and unwanted. Khloe, on the other hand, has expressed her willingness to go anywhere her hubby is. She’s standin’ by her man, and that’s why we’ve chosen her as the Sports WAG of the week. Maybe Kim can learn a thing or two from her younger sib. Just sayin’.
The drama first started Thursday, when the Lakers wanted to trade Odom and Pau Gasol to New Orleans in exchange for Chris Paul. It wouldn’t end there, Gasol would then be sent to Houston for Goran Dragic, Luis Scola and Kevin Martin plus a first round draft pick. The NBA nixed the deal, and Lamar wasn’t too pleased that he was even part of it. He showed up to the Lakers practice 30 minutes late on Friday, spoke with Laker GM Mitch Kupchak, and according to a source, told him of his desire to be traded.
So why would the Lakers organization want to trade Odom in the first place? He was a fan favorite in L.A. and was named NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year in April. Yes, they now get a first round pick in the 2012 draft, but more than likely it was a salary dump ($17 million).
Anyways, it’s a done deal now. Twitter happy Khloe wasted no time in expressing how she felt about their move to Dallas. She tweeted Saturday night, “‘For I know the plans I have for u,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper u and not to harm u, plans to give u hope and a future.’ Jeremiah.”
She also added:
“I am sure I will love it but I am a tad thrown off…I know for a fact blessings are everywhere!!! Everything happens for a reason. God is great.”
Truly believe that too…everything happens for a reason. Maybe we’ll see a mini Khloe or mini Lamar born in Dallas. What do you think?
