Yesterday was such a crazy news day.
The deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson were hard enough to take, but then came word that actor Jeff Goldblum had plunged to his death on a movie set in New Zealand.
Internet rumors were running rampant that The Fly star had fallen off a cliff while filming his new flick, but they were soon pulled and nowhere to be found.
Reps for the actor released this statement: “Reports that Jeff Goldblum has passed away are completely untrue. He is fine and in Los Angeles.”
Well, thank goodness. I don’t know how much more we could really take.
