The-Dream and Christina Milian ended The-Marriage earlier this week … officially. In truth, it was over a long time ago (even though it began in September).

In an open letter on his website, he finally acknowledges as much, claiming he tried to commit suicide when he realized his marriage with the singer was over.

“I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming,” he wrote.

Nowhere does he mention creepin’ on random hoes.

Did The-Dream really try to commit suicide?

In his letter, The-Dream also apologizes to fans for “misleading everyone” into believing his marriage was fine for the past few months … when in reality he was, “simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we were failing.”

But, he writes: “This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!”

We hope so, for both of their sakes, and their daughter’s.

It may be a beautiful summer weather across the country, but many people will spend at least two hours inside a movie theater this weekend.

That’s because each Inception review out there is more positive than the one before it.

Anchored by Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Christopher Nolan, this film is garnering Oscar talk and will undoubtedly dominate the box office for at least the next week or so.

Great news, Mad Men fans: a cast member is posing in Playboy!

Not as great news: it’s not Christina Hendricks.

Instead, lesser known actress Crista Flanagan has gone topless in the latest edition of the men’s magazine. She plays switchboard operator Lois Sadler and jumped at the chance to not only show off her figure, but to do it in a 1960s-style shoot.

Flanagan appears on a pair of covers (below) that were modeled after shots from that era, along with an eight-page layout that’s consistent with the retro theme inside.

“I really did feel like I was re-creating something and that I was bringing to life these women who already posed for Playboy in the ’60s,” she told The New York Daily News. “If I tell a friend I did this, they think I’m completely naked… This was not Crista filling your wish list out. This was trying to capture an era.”

Flanagan added that “I haven’t been seen as a sexy person,” but that should change now.

As for revealing any Mad Men spoilers, the actress is mum.

“I remember, even last season, I chopped that man’s foot off with the tractor, we shot it weeks and weeks before it happened,” she said of a scene. “I just wanted to run out and tell everyone.”

Alas, she did not.

Now back to the movie that has people talking. Once more people have seen it, I see this movie as one that will be seriously discussed and people will try to extract all of the meanings behind it. After seeing the trailer the first time I was hooked, and now with some reviews and hints about the dramatic ending, I can’t wait until I see it!

Brent Shapiro, Robert Shapiro’s son passed away in 2005 from an accidental overdoes of Ecstasy. He had attended a party following a USC-Arizona football game and indulged in beer and Ecstacy which later resulted in his death. After he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, he was pronounced dead the next day. According to his biography, he was a student at USC studying music and eventually planned on attending law school, following the foot steps of his father.

However, he had a troubling past with drugs and alcohol which led him to hole up in a rehab center for drug and alcohol abuse. He had been clean for 18 months until he relapsed that fateful night of October 8th, 2005.

The Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug Awareness was created following the death of the 25-year-old USC senior. According to a write-up on the foundation’s purpose, “the first is to raise awareness of the disease, both for children and their parents. The second is to support new and extensive research, in the hopes of identifying a genetic basis for this disease and developing methods of early identification, prevention and treatment. Finally, the Brent Shapiro Foundation hopes to take away the stigma of this disease by creating honest discussions around the country, and educating people that this disease should be treated no differently than any other. It is our belief that the solution, the answer, and the possible cure lies in a new and different approach.”

Just days before Lindsay Lohan is set to report to jail to serve her 90 day sentence, her new lawyer Robert Shapiro has convinced the young troubled starlet to enter into a rehab facility in LA in hopes of nixing her jail sentence. Michael Lohan commented on the latest via his attorney Lisa Bloom, “For months, we have been begging Lindsay to enter rehab, for her own health, and to avoid incarceration. We are pleased that at last she appears to have done so. As we have written in several letters to the Court, Lindsay belongs in rehab, not in jail. We hope that Lindsay gets off all prescription medication as well as any other substances that may be damaging her. Michael Lohan is willing to attend any family therapy with Lindsay and other family members in an effort to help her fully heal. Michael loves his daughter unconditionally. He wants her to live. He stands ready, willing and able to help her in any way he can.”

Perhaps hiring on Robert was the perfect solution to all this madness. Here’s hoping that the death of Brent Shapiro, Robert Shapiro’s son has been used as an example to convince Lindsay to choose life before death chooses her.

The August issue of Playboy features Crista Flanagan, of Mad Men fame, on not one but two different covers of the magazine looking super sexy and hot in a throwback to the 60’s. Keeping with the era of the AMC hit show the eight page layout was modeled after actual shots from the magazine in the 60’s. The magazine also recreated ads from during that era too.

I know you are dying to see how Crista looks and you can see one of the covers right here. She looks drop dead gorgeous in nothing but a tie and black panties. It is a great cover, super classy. Flanagan had this to say about posing for the infamous girlie magazine.

I’m a character actress, The parts I play, I’m usually a crazy heroin addict or a lunch lady. Nobody’s ever asked me to take off my clothes, or even kiss somebody.

The new Mr. and Mrs. were reportedly married today at New York’s Plaza Hotel. What a classy way to say I do! Be sure to check out photos and videos below.

As a biography, Vanessa Goonan was born in New Jersey on August 30, 1980 so her age is 29. She uses her grandmother’s maiden name. Vanessa studied theater arts at Montclair University in New Jersey. She has appeared on Young and the Restless and Without a Trace.

Krumholtz had asked Britting for her hand in marriage in June of 2008 and she said yes! The couple had been dating for over three years, so I guess the time was right. A representative for the couple said, “The happy couple became engaged in Paris on a hiatus vacation last month and are beyond ecstatic.” Well not only are they engaged, but they are officially hitched. Congrats!

The beautiful wedding took place at The Plaza Hotel’s terrace room in New York City. The two shared their vows in front of family and friends, together with 180 invited guests. Those of the wedding party included actors Seth Rogen, James Franco and Numb3rs co-star Rob Morrow.

The couple’s wedding planner, Michelle Rago, said “They wanted a classic Manhattan wedding,” and clearly, that’s just what they got. They wed in a Midsummer Night’s Dream-esque setting “featuring pale pink and blue spring flowers, branches, butterflies and hundreds of candles.”

It is said that David Krumholt’s wife wore an elegant wedding dress by Rivini. Following the 30 minute nuptials, new husband and wife and their guests sipped on cocktails and engaged in great conversation prior to moving the party to the reception located in the hotel’s grand ballroom. That is, after eating a three-course meal!

Of the bride and groom, Rago shared, “They’re a perfect compliment to each other,” adding, “You can tell they’re old souls. They have incredible mutual respect and make all decisions as a couple. I predict they’ll be married for ever and ever.”
