Amy Winehouse Arrested for Assault

Breaking news, or breaking noses. Apparently, Amy Winehouse has been arrested for assault. It is said that she attended a performance of “Cinderella” before she attacked a theater manager. Find out more revealing details and see photos and a video here.

Over the weekend, British singer Amy Winehouse, 26, was allegedly arrested on Saturday and is currently being charged for assault against Richard Pounds, who is said to be the manager of the Milton Keynes Theater in Buckinghamshire, England.

It is reported that Winehouse has been charged under the name of Amy Civil, affiliated with her ex-husband’s name Blake-Fielder Civil. It is said that she apparently began to punch, kick, and pull the hair of a theatre manager who asked her to switch seats due to disruptive behavior. She is allegedly charged with a “public order offense and common assault”.

The incident took place on Saturday. The singer and her attorney voluntarily turned the singer in to the Milton Kynes police station on Wednesday and she was arrested for assault.

Her court appearance is scheduled for January 20th, 2010.

The R & B singer is most known for her songs entitled: Rehab, Back to Black and Tears Dry on Their Own.

Earlier this month, it is said that Winehouse and her ex-hubby, Blake Fielder-Civil may be planning a reconciliation? The couple is said to have spent some “quality” time together. Whatever that entails. Even though the couple endured a very public divorce, the couple have reportedly been on Facebook with supposed plans of marrying, yet, a second time.
